Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you can and cannot do on OneForU. It exists to keep the platform safe, fair, and useful for everyone. Violating this policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use OneForU to generate, store, or distribute content that:

  • Is illegal under the laws of England and Wales or your local jurisdiction
  • Promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm
  • Contains hate speech, harassment, threats, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any protected characteristic
  • Is sexually explicit or exploitative, particularly involving minors
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others (copyrighted material, trademarks, trade secrets)
  • Contains malware, phishing links, or deceptive redirects
  • Impersonates another person or entity in a misleading way (parody and satire are acceptable when clearly labelled)
  • Is intentionally false or misleading and likely to cause harm

2. AI-Specific Rules

Because OneForU provides AI generation capabilities including voice cloning, image generation, and video creation, these additional rules apply:

  • No unauthorised voice cloning. You may not use voice cloning to impersonate real people without their explicit written consent. This includes public figures, celebrities, and private individuals. You are responsible for obtaining and retaining proof of consent.
  • No deepfake content for deception. You may not generate synthetic media (images, video, or audio) intended to deceive people into believing something false happened. Clearly labelled creative, educational, or satirical content is permitted.
  • No bulk automated generation for spam. You may not use OneForU to mass-produce content intended to flood social media platforms, comment sections, review sites, or email inboxes. Legitimate batch content creation for your own business is fine.
  • No reselling raw API access. You may not use OneForU as a proxy to underlying AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, etc.) or offer API-level access to third parties. OneForU is a user-facing platform, not an API reseller.
  • No free-tier exploitation. Creating multiple accounts solely to exploit free-tier credits is prohibited. One account per person. If you need more capacity, upgrade your plan.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Generate spam. Use OneForU to create bulk unsolicited messages, comments, or outreach content intended for mass automated distribution.
  • Scrape or reverse engineer. Attempt to extract our AI models, prompts, training data, or source code through automated means or systematic querying.
  • Abuse API limits. Circumvent rate limits, create multiple accounts to multiply free-tier quotas, or use bots to interact with the platform.
  • Resell without authorisation. Offer OneForU outputs as a competing AI writing service or resell API access to third parties without our written agreement.
  • Interfere with the service. Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise platform infrastructure, other users' accounts, or data integrity.
  • Share credentials. Allow others to access your account or share login details. Each user needs their own account.

4. Fair Use Limits

Each plan includes a defined allocation of AI generations, voice minutes, and features. "Unlimited" plans are subject to a fair use threshold designed to prevent abuse while ensuring generous access for normal business use:

  • If your usage consistently exceeds 10x the average for your plan tier, we may contact you to discuss upgrading or adjusting your usage patterns.
  • Automated or programmatic access to OneForU (beyond our official API, if offered) is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to throttle accounts exhibiting abnormal usage patterns to protect service quality for all users.

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this policy, please report it to support@oneforu.ai. Include as much detail as possible. We review all reports and take action within 48 hours.

6. Enforcement

We follow a clear escalation ladder. Our goal is to correct behaviour, not punish people. Here is how enforcement works:

  1. Warning. First-time or minor violations result in a written warning with clear guidance on what needs to change.
  2. Feature restriction. If the violation continues after a warning, specific features related to the violation may be restricted (e.g., voice cloning access revoked, image generation paused).
  3. Account suspension. Serious or repeated violations result in a temporary account suspension while we investigate. You will be notified of the reason and duration.
  4. Permanent termination. Severe violations (illegal content, fraud, repeated serious breaches) result in permanent account termination without refund.

7. Appeal Process

If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you have 14 days to appeal. Here is how:

  1. Email support@oneforu.ai with the subject line "Enforcement Appeal".
  2. Explain why you believe the action was incorrect or disproportionate.
  3. We will review your appeal and respond within 7 business days.
  4. During the appeal period, any feature restrictions remain in place, but we will not escalate enforcement further unless there is an immediate safety concern.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP as the platform evolves. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of OneForU after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
